Is Microsoft every going put there feet into deep water? By Bigbiki There have been rumors from all the way back
in the Xbox 1 day about Microsoft "jumping in" the hand held market. Microsoft is sitting right now with the online
power house that is the Xbox360, that is there main gaming platform focus, Games for Windows 2nd. Sony has the juggernaut
that is the PS3"Play play Beyond", the still alive PS2, Sexy PSP300 & soon to come PSPGo. Nintendo is chilling
& telling everyone "Wii would like to play", Nintendo Dsi is printing money, Dslite is still being sold. So
after summing up all tree 1st party publishers there one thing missing Microsoft hand held. So the question is why have they
op out off this market for so long? The key in my eye's has to be timing, you can have the best, newest, & sexy look
gadget on the block but if the industry is not in the right industry economic conditions then you’re just going flop
just as the Dreamcast. This is just NOT the right time for them to step in a pond that so deep. Nintendo
dominates the hand held market selling the same system with just new color or making it smaller, Nintendo’s hold the
hand held market go way beyond just us gamers. From 5 year old boys to 70 years old ladies on the bus we seen it all, the
simple fact is Nintendo Ds can be appealing to people off any age. And there is Sony they may not be on
top but the PSP sure are still selling, unlike the Ds the PSP is focus on a more teen to mid 20’s as its players, just
watch any PSP T.V Ad & look who is in them. Sony does its best to show much they believe PSP is a good
vale for the cost, adding Tv tuner, skyp, music play back, PSN store and more. So as hand held this will going to the tech
groups out there, plus not to forget the big line up they have coming after e3. The soon to be release PSPGo is once again
going for high en shoppers with cash to spend. Just quit note the iPhone is making waves in low cost mobile
gaming seen. So where does this leave Microsoft? Well at a standstill, they going to fold there hand for now & wait for
a better hand to be dealt form the deck. As I said before timing is key. A few things would have to happen in this consol
cycle for Microsoft to show their hand, Nintendo will have had over killed remaking the Ds, at some point
people going to see that they do not need over 3 different DS and by this time well over 120M off them sold. Sony on the other
hand are just going kick them self’s when they should be lowering cost, they chose make the PSPGo a $249.99 cost this
will be there down fall in the long run after the 1st wave of tech new tech fans come and buy the Go, the everyday man/woman
is not going shell out the 249.99 cost for this system. There will be at a standstill if they lower the go down to $200 then
the psp300 will have to drop as well. Shoppers like myself will wait it out till they final decide the to drop the cost. So
now is the time Microsoft can final show what they have at a conference, while Sony fights with cost problems and Nintendo
realize you can’t expect people buy the same system 4 times, Microsoft can show off its high powered hand
held system the like of no has seen before. Now planting the seeds in the minds off customer that a high graphics, faster
Cpu, great online head held is on the way. Now setting up a all in move for their attempt of dominance of the Market.
