The king of fighter series has been out since 1995 the path of this 2d fighting series was first originated on the neo geo a popular gaming handheld developed in Japan and slowly came to the united states, in the fighting genre at the time, most people was playing street fighter, Mortal Kombat, and did not even know that there was a fighting series that could even well be a competition for street fighter and the brutal Mortal Kombat series. The king of fighter series show a lot of potential in the 2d fighting world as it slowly introduced great characters and crazy way to pull off insane combos via to street fighter and mortal kombat, as these three fighter continued battling off with each others with sequels and sequels we have never seen a sequel so many numbers as the king of fighter series of course we have street fighter 3 and 4 and mortal kombat 4 but we have seen this series  grow to the maximum amount of numbers , well except of the never ending final fantasy series.  With the this current gen era street fighter and mortal kombat have changed there 2d ways and step it up to full fledged 3d ass kicking, but the king of fighters keep the same old 2d action but with a high def feel to it, why change something so good to something that you that could be bad. But at times you got to ask yourself that with so many  sequels that this game have will king of fighters 12 be the last one?.
